Method 1 :- Look last seen timestamp

If the last seen feature of whatsapp is active in your account, then you will be able to see xyz persons last seen.

 But if xyz person has blocked you on whatsapp then you won't be able to see his/her last seen status.

So if you were able to see xyz persons last seen status before but not now, then there could be possible only 2 reasons,
  • First which is obvious, if he/she has blocked you on whatsapp
  • Second could be possibly he/she has stop sharing his last seen timestamp status with everyone.

I can't be able to see the time as that person has blocked me. But in your case there may be second possibility. So no worries we have to try method 2 in this case.

Method 2 :- Check whatsapp profile pic

If someone has blocked you on whatsapp. It can also be verified by looking at xyz's profile pic. If he/she had blocked you then you won't be able to see his/her profile pic.

 So first check timestamp as shown in method 1 and after that check profile pic. If you can't see both of them then you may be blocked by that person or he/she may have stop sharing both the stuffs with everyone.

Method 3 :- Check message delivery (double tick mark)

So if someone blocked you on whatsapp then your messages won't get delivered to that person. This simply means that you won't be able to see double tick mark sign on messages.

You guys already know double tick mark (read receipts)/ blue ticks is the acknowledgement that the messages is being delivered.

So if your messages are not being delivered it simply means that it may be if the person is not in internet range or you're blocked.

If someone has blocked you on whatsapp then you won't be able to connect a whatsapp call with that person. If you try calling that person via whatsapp call then your call will automatically end without connecting and moreover you'll always get a disconnect call message.

      Ben I guess there is no way to contact a blocked person on whatsapp via whatsapp app.

      But it doesn't mean you don't have other methods.

      You can still call them or you may sms them.

      These are the possible ways.

      OR if you know, they are using other apps like HIKE or wechat. So you can still ping them on those apps.

    With Whatsapp there;s this new trick when someone does not want you to know that they are available. What the do is that as soon as you send them a message, they will set their phone on offline and then scroll down to your message and read it. On your own phone, the message will never indicate that it has been read. Ever!
